Author in his article analyzes “Kronos”: intimate notes by writer Witold Gombrowicz. Author investigates its language, subject matter and very important literary context of these notes. This context is constituted by famous literary “Diary” by the same writer, in which fictional components play a vital role. In the article there is considered the system of these both written works and it is interpreted as the writer’s intentional antropological project. In this system both texts take up opositional, bipolar places – the first one makes his way towards fiction, the second one – towards autobiographical reality.
